Charco del Palo

Your Holiday Destination in the Northeast

The small holiday resort Charco del Palo is located in the northeast of the island of Lanzarote, right on the Atlantic Ocean.

The Only Naturist Resort in Lanzarote

Charco del Palo is the only official naturist resort on the island of Lanzarote. In the resort, everyone can move freely, whether with or without clothing.

Enjoy Peace and Relaxation

Charco del Palo is a very quiet place, perfect for fully relaxing from everyday life. Enjoy the pleasant climate, the sound of the sea, and the soothing slightly salty sea breeze.

The village

The small holiday resort Charco del Palo is located on the particularly climate-favored northeast coast of the Canary Island of Lanzarote (Spain). The resort stretches approximately 1200 meters along the Atlantic coast. Three restaurants and a pub-bistro offer culinary delights for your well-being. A supermarket, cafeteria, car rental, and a boutique await your visit in the “Centro Comercial,” the town center.

What makes Charco del Palo special is that everyone is free to move around either naked or more or less dressed. Additionally, unlike other naturist areas, in Charco del Palo, not only the coastal and water areas belong to the naturist zone. Of course, restaurants and shops must be entered while clothed.

An idyllic international spot for your unique relaxation vacation.

Swimming in Charco del Palo

The “natural swimming pool” is one of three swimming options in your holiday resort Charco del Palo. This is an artificially created swimming bay, suitable even for less proficient swimmers, as the forces of the sea are restrained by a natural stone wall. Small openings allow the pool to be filled with fresh seawater.

Spared from mass tourism, the sunniest of the Canary Islands offers countless excursion and sightseeing opportunities, both culinary and cultural.

Haría

The city of Haría, also located in the northeast of the island, is known as the “City of a Thousand Palms.” The picture shows how it got its name.

Playas del Papagayo

The white Playas de Papagayo invite you to extensive sunbathing.

Salinas de Janubio

The Salinas de Janubio form the largest salt production facility in the Canary Islands. They impress with their sheer size, as well as the variety of colors and the sparkling of the slowly evaporating seawater in the sun.
